Dircks Moving & Logistics is seeking a Order Selector who will be involved in interactions with our customers, operations, and customer support while ensuring we deliver the highest quality service to our customers.
SUMMARY
In this role you will be safely operating a forklift to load and offload trucks and racks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Reads customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
Unloads inbound shipments into the warehouse.
Loads outbound shipments into 3rd party carrier trailers.
Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
Maintain warehouse free from trash and comply with safety and OSHA standards.
Must wear uniforms acceptable to the Company.
Follow all standard operating procedures and work order instructions to ensure loads are completed correctly and safely without contamination, spill, or other incidents.
Maintain accurate records including truck tickets, and bills of lading when signing out drivers.
Inspecting trailers for damage and faults, using inspection sheets.
Communicating errors to management.
Able to use phone app (load proof) to take pictures of completed loads/ damaged loads.
Communicate with receivers where you offloaded the inbounds.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office word processing software, as well as Cisco phone systems.
