The Ortho Trauma Surgery NP/PA will have the wonderful opportunity to join an outstanding Trauma Surgery Team, dedicated to providing high quality care to patients in this specialized setting. The Ortho Trauma Surgery NP/PA will work closely with orthopedic surgeons, provide comprehensive care to patients with complex musculoskeletal injuries such as fractures, dislocations, and traumatic injuries.
Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, assisting in surgical procedures, managing post-operative care, and providing patient education and support throughout the recovery process. Additionally, the Advanced Practice Provider for Ortho Trauma Surgery may collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate multidisciplinary care plans and ensure optimal outcomes for patients with traumatic orthopedic injuries.
