WellSpan Medical Group (WMG) is seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon to join our established practice in Lebanon, PA and help us expand into Lancaster County. Individual must be a graduate of an accredited school of medicine with Doctor of Medicine degree plus completion of a medical residency training program in Orthopedic Surgery. He or she must also be Board Certified or Board Eligible.
Position Highlights: Employed position with WMG Fellowship training in adult reconstruction, hand/upper extremity or sports medicine preferred Join current compliment of 3 orthopedic surgeons, 2 podiatrists, 1 non-operative sports medicine physician and 4 APPs with goals of increasing to a total of 6 orthopedic surgeons Ability to have clinical office space in both Lebanon and Lancaster County General orthopedic call of 1:5 Multiple OR days a week between hospital and ASC settings Large referral base of WMG family and internal medicine physicians Surgeries performed at Good Samaritan Hospital (GSH) and Good Samaritan ASC; new state-of-the-art ASC currently under construction in Lancaster County GSH is a 170-bed facility with a busy ED and an outpatient ambulatory surgery center Modern office with collegial/engaged staff; led by seasoned Practice Manager in Lebanon and newly constructed Medical Office Space (MOB) in Lancaster County Epic utilized in all inpatient and outpatient settings Our Commitment to You: Physician-designed compensation model Competitive signing bonus Rich retirement savings plan with employer match Paid relocation Malpractice coverage including tail 4,500/year for CME About WellSpan and the Community: Conveniently situated within a short drive of major cities like Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington, D.C., WellSpan Health's service area is made up of a diverse mix of welcoming communities that you will love to call home.
