We are currently in search of an experienced OTP Nurse for our XX location. The Charge Nurse at Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health and all its subsidiaries ("Kolmac" or the "Company") Under supervision of the Medical Director, responsible for attaining and maintaining optimum and qualitative level of nursing coverage for all program and dispensing and medical operations. Responsible for supervision, encouragement and motivation of nurses and interns and coordination with other departments and external stakeholders.

Maintains a cooperative and positive attitude and approach to patients, staff and visitors
Employee is expected to perform all duties within a 40-hour week  
Performs all job responsibilities of Charge Nurse  
Supervises all other OTP nursing staff within the agency including providing recommendations as to hiring, termination, evaluation and discipline  
Develops and manages nursing schedules assuring coverage for vacancies and absences to ensure adequate coverage for optimal medication process for patient population
Manages and maintains inventory of on-site medications in compliance with the U.S. Drug Enforcement (DEA), COMAR, and CARF regulations  
Responsible for the accuracy of the inventory of methadone, buprenorphine and any other medications that are maintained in the dispensary
Responsible to order medications and all other supplies needed in the dispensary and for the OTP patients through communications with pharmaceutical distributors and venders
Properly disposes of medical waste in compliance with U.S. DEA, Maryland state (COMAR) and local regulations
Responsible for maintaining the upkeep and preventive maintenance of medical equipment including medication pumps, EKG machines, etc.  
Conducts health monitoring assessments for patients to include Adult BMI Screening, Generic Health Monitoring (BP, R, Temp, etc), Tobacco use screening and smoking cessation counseling, Assures communicable disease risk assessments is done on all consumers, other assessments as assigned
Oversees administration of PPD to all consumers
Provides training on medical issues to nursing and clinical staff
Dispenses methadone, buprenorphine and IM injections
Assures accuracy and completeness of all progress notes
Audits patient charts regularly to ensure compliance to protocols
Conducts employee performance improvement activities and prepare reports according to expected timeframes
Participates in treatment team meetings
Participate in review of new, readmission and transfer patients
Review and resolve client concerns and formal complaints with guidance from Medical and Program Director
Develop and maintain professional relationships with external stakeholders; other agencies, community, and etc.
Provide supervision and intervention in crisis management situations
Assist OTP Clinical Program Administrator and OTP Medical Director in daily program operation
Ensures client notes regarding critical client matters are submitted in a timely manner
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties
Other duties as assigned
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
Licensed with the state of Maryland as RN or LPN
CPR certified within 3 months of hire
Must have strong knowledge of nursing functions, medication assisted treatments for opioid use disorder, mental health medications as well as maintenance medications
May be required to submit to annual TB and rubella screening, candidate may decline vaccination through declination form or may provide record of vaccination from previous employer. CCG will offer Hepatitis vaccination
