We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic OSHC Team Leader for Garran OSHC Juniors Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality programs, and maintaining positive relationships with families, schools, and the wider community.

Our OSHC services provide children with recreation-based activities with emphasis on social interaction and a sense of fun in a safe and secure environment. A range of activities are offered including art, sports, games, dramatic play, nature-based play, cooking and excursions.
Key AccountabilitiesWork collaboratively with the Service Manager, OSHC Manager and other leadership staff to achieve the goals and objectives of the service.Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the OSHC service, including program planning, delivery, and evaluation.Develop and implement program plans that meet the individual needs and interests of the children.If you have a passion for providing a supportive environment for children and families, we'd love to hear from you!
Our OfferPermanent, part time (25-27 hours/week).Salary of $66,610.31 to $68,625.25 p.a. (pro-rata) depending on skills and experience, plus 11.5% superannuation.Broken shift allowance (where applicable).Paid shutdown leave on standard working days between Christmas and New Year.Salary packaging (up to $15,899 per year) plus meal and entertainment cards.15 days paid personal leave per annum (pro rata) for full & part-time employees.Study Leave opportunities.Generous discounts of up to 95% on WCS Children's Services Programs.24/7 nationally recognised Employee Assistance Program (EAP), including 3 additional holistic service sessions.Uniforms, ongoing professional development and a supportive team environment.Qualifications and ExperienceDiploma in Early Education and Care (or ACEQA approved equivalent).Extensive skills, knowledge and experience in OSHC, including demonstrated use of the My Time, Our Place and Early Years Learning frameworks.Sound knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law, Education and Care Services National Regulations.Demonstrated effective interpersonal, leadership and people management skills.Demonstrated good communication including verbal and written that engender positive relationships and influence stakeholders effectively to resolve functional issues.Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team.Reliable, punctual and mature attitude to work.Demonstrated understanding of professional boundaries, privacy and confidentiality.Current first aid certificate in an education and care setting (including asthma and anaphylaxis).To be eligible for employment, you must also have an ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Card, working rights in Australia, and be willing to undertake background checks required for the position.
