Peak Gastroenterology is seeking a skilled and experienced General Gastroenterologist to join our medical team in Colorado Springs.
The ideal candidate will possess expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions.
The General Gastroenterologist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the ongoing development of our gastroenterology services.
Key Responsibilities: Perform standard gastroenterological procedures, including but not limited to colonoscopies, upper endoscopies (EGD), and polypectomy techniques.Diagnose and treat a variety of gastrointestinal conditions using endoscopic and non-endoscopic techniques.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.Provide pre- and post-procedure consultations to patients and their families, explaining the risks and benefits of procedures and addressing any concerns.Stay current with advancements in gastroenterology through continuous education and professional development.Contribute to clinical research and quality improvement initiatives within the gastroenterology unit.Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards related to gastroenterology services.Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records and documentation.Qualifications: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.Ability to obtain a valid medical license to practice in Colorado.Experience in performing gastroenterological procedures.Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.About Us: Gastro Care Partners is the national partner for successful regional gastroenterology practices.
