Outpatient Psychiatrist and Rural Residency EducatorCoastal Maine teaching opportunity with academic appointment and an engaging, flexible mix of clinical duties: Maine Behavioral Healthcare (MBH) is seeking a BC/BE Psychiatrist to join its expanding team located in Rockland, Maine.
The ideal candidate will provide teaching to rural track psychiatry residents and Tufts University medical students, and leadership to a multidisciplinary outpatient team.
We are looking for physicians interested in a negotiable mix of duties that could include care of patients with SMI, addiction medicine, integrated, consultative care, or even some inpatient care.
This unique opportunity involves providing care to patients 18 years of age and older, from the whole social spectrum.
Desired Qualifications & Experience: Education: Graduate of Allopathic or Osteopathic Medical School.
Completion of internship and psychiatric residency and/or fellowship training.License/Certifications: Current and valid licensure as a physician by the Maine Board of Licensure in Medicine.
Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or be eligible for examination by the American Board as documented by written evidence.
Board Certified or board eligible in general psychiatry.
Current DEA Registration Certificate.Experience: 3+ years experience inclusive residency and/or fellowship training.
