Outpatient Psychiatrist, Community Health Center, Part Time

(Physician/MD qualifications required) Psychiatry (General) - A leading community development organization providing a wide range of services to positively impact families and communities in Washington, D.C. is seeking an Outpatient Psychiatrist to work 16-30 hours per week in the outpatient clinic (Flexible with Scheduling).

The center administers services via the latest and most effective family and community building tools in the field of social and community development. The services work to develop and sustain healthy families and communities.

Individual CounselingFamily Counseling and TrainingCommunity SupportCrisis InterventionDiagnostic AssessmentsPsychological EvaluationBehavioral AidCommunity TransitionMedication ManagementResource Coordination The patient base ranges from ADHD, Depression, General Psychological Issues, and Addiction Medicine Treatment.

The Psychiatrist performs psychiatric evaluations, supervises and administers mental health-related medication, monitors and interprets results of laboratory diagnostic procedures related to mental health medication, and provides medical interventions needed for effective treatment, either as individual or group interventions.
