POSITION TITLE: Outpatient Therapist/Outpatient Supervisor
DEPARTMENT/PROGRAM: Counseling
REPORTS TO: Clinical Supervisor
SCHEDULE: Full time 40 hours per week Evening Hours Required
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: To provide a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic services to a varied client population.
Services are provided in-home, in-office or within the community.
This position also assists in the supervision and coordination of employees providing outpatient and community-based services.
The primary role of the Outpatient Supervisor is supervisory responsibility for the functioning of all staff within the agency office assigned.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Outpatient Therapy:
1.
Conduct psychiatric diagnostic assessments to determine medical necessity.
2.
Develop, implement, and update Individual Service Plans with the client in accordance with OAC standards and FCS policy/procedure.
3.
Provide psychotherapy/counseling services to clients through individual, group, and/or family methods.
4. Review and update progress, and diagnoses in accordance with OAC standards and FCS policy/procedure to ensure continued provision of proper and necessary services.
5.
Maintain client records in accordance with OAC standards and F&CS policy/procedure.
6.
At a minimum, achieve and maintain the Agency's established productivity standards.
7.
Assist with the management of scheduling, monitoring and evaluating job performance, and approving leave request and time sheets for assigned staff.
8.
Coordinate and communicate with other community agencies to insure effective inter-agency cooperation.
9.
Assist with monitoring staff on their development of Individual Service Plans, documentation and billing.
10.
Maintain current knowledge of all applicable FCS policies/procedures and function according to these standards.

Outpatient Supervisor:
1.
Supervise, train, monitor, and evaluate both clinical and clerical staff.
2.
Requisition office supplies in a timely manner.
3.
Interview and recommend job applicants.
4.
Assist in the development of programming and continue to meet the demand of community needs.
5.
Coordinate clinical and clerical staff to meet demands of the agency, always sensitive to workflow improvement opportunities that may exist.
6.
Participate in the development and implementation of office policies and procedures.
7.
May substitute for, assist staff in performance of duties, or provide additional staff as needed to maintain adequate workflow.
8.
Other duties usual and customary to the position.
9.
Complies with agency policies and procedures, COA regulations, federal and state requirements, and educational/certification/registry requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1.
Knowledge in the implementation of current diagnostic standards.
2.
Current knowledge of medical office practices and procedures.
3.
Experience working in a community mental health setting in a leadership role.
4.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and meet agency requirements for driving insurability.
5.
Must be able to meet agency requirements for criminal background check.
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL/LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree required.
Currently holds a LPCC-S or LISW-S license in the State of Ohio.
Peer Support Supervision Designation also required.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Prior supervisory experience preferred.
Compensation details: 65000-70000 Yearly Salary
