Overview The Outreach and Education Manager/Director is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance the relationships between the organization and the community, providers, and other stakeholders. This role includes managing communication campaigns, organizing outreach activities, coordinating educational events, and ensuring that all outreach efforts align with the goals of the Comparative Billing Reports (CBR) and Programs to Evaluate Payment Patterns Electronic Reports (PEPPER) project.  This role is contingent upon contract award. Responsibilities Outreach Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive outreach strategies to enhance engagement with providers, the community, and other stakeholders. Identify and recommend new outreach opportunities to increase awareness and utilization of CBR and PEPPER reports. Education Campaigns: Plan and execute educational campaigns to inform providers about CBR and PEPPER reports, Medicare policies, and procedures. Create and distribute educational materials, including newsletters, fact sheets, and online content. Event Coordination: Organize and manage outreach events such as webinars, training sessions, and conferences. Coordinate with CMS and other stakeholders to ensure successful event execution. Develop materials for presentations and educational sessions. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including providers, professional associations, and community organizations. Act as a liaison between the organization and external partners to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Support and Communication: Manage the CBR/PEPPER help desk, providing timely and accurate responses to inquiries. Develop and maintain content for the CMS CBR/PEPPER website, ensuring information is up-to-date and relevant. Draft promotional language for social media platforms and other communication channels to advertise upcoming report releases and educational events. Reporting and Analysis: Track and analyze the effectiveness of outreach and educational activities. Provide regular reports on outreach efforts, including metrics on event attendance, help desk inquiries, and stakeholder engagement. Offer recommendations for improving outreach and education strategies based on data analysis. Required Qualifications: Minimum of seven years of professional experience, including at least three years in a managerial role focusing on outreach, education, and community engagement. Experience in the healthcare or government sector is highly desirable. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proven experience in planning and executing outreach and educational campaigns. Proficiency in developing educational materials and managing communication platforms. Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights for improving outreach efforts. Preferred Qualifications: Three years of professional experience focused on strengthening relationships between an organization and its community through effective communication and educational campaigns. Familiarity with Medicare policies and provider education best practices. Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Master's degree from an accredited institution or four additional years of related work experience in lieu of the master's degree.
