We help Oracle build the best-in-class cloud offering by providing the physical infrastructure and software to test and qualify networking hardware, configuration, design, and tooling. We build labs and tools to test physical hardware and simulate large-scale networks and designs. We own top-level network integration testing ensuring our network comes together flawlessly and performs as designed.
We are looking for a Network Development Engineer in Test who will contribute in network/optic testing at a system level, interface with network engineering and identify risks in network design before deployment, automate testing and work with OEMs/vendors to make sure they adhere to our networking standards. You should be comfortable at building complex distributed systems that interact with end users at one end and network infrastructure at the other. Prior experience with Networking is a required. You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn. Your excellent judgment and strong communication skills will be invaluable when defining the roadmap for your areas of ownership.

Required Skils and Experience: US Veteran transitioning from active service or active duty Military Spouse new to corporate experience preferred. Mandatory Qualifications: + 1+ years of experience in Networking field
+ 2+ years of experience in testing, automating at system level
+ Experience with at least one scripting language such as Python, Ruby or Perl
+ Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
+ Excellent judgment to influence product roadmap direction, features, and priorities
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Hardware Engineering or related field
Preferred Qualifications: + Prior experience with network and/or datacenter/cloud automation
+ Fluency in BGP , MPLS , Tunnels, OSPF , TCP , UDP , IP, Networking device hardware
+ Experience in working with optics used in data centers
+ Masters / PhD degree in Computer Science or related engineering field

Additional Information: + Hourly wage is $30 per hour.
