You'll play a pivotal role in coaching, mentoring, and supporting leaders to navigate P&C related matters.
This role is a Part Time 12-month Fixed Term opportunity, based at our Mount Beauty site in Regional Victoria.
You will be based at Mt. Beauty, which offers access to outstanding winter and summer sports such as skiing and mountain biking along with quality educational and health infrastructure. The region surrounded by the picturesque Alpine National Park offers a lifestyle that is appealing to both individuals and families.
What you'll be doing Be an integral part of the Business Unit Leadership team to coach, mentor, and support leaders in dealing with people and culture-related matters.Drive continuous improvement, enhance leadership and other core capabilities, and help curate the culture in line with AGL's Values.Support cyclical people activities such as talent management (i.e. talent development and succession planning), culture activities, and driving high-performing teams (i.e. PDR calibration, leadership development, employee engagement & action planning, etc.)Collaborate with the P&C Business Partnering team to drive and deliver our people strategies.Advise on and support effective employee relations, considerate of relevant Enterprise Agreements, Industrial Instruments, Legislation, etc., and maintain effective relationships with union representatives.About you What you'll bring to the table Proven experience as a trusted P&C Business Partner, with strong generalist experience in large and complex organisations.Hands-on, operational experience advantageous.Collaborative style with excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing ability.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to deliver effective case management and support with a wide range of HR cyclical activities.Proven track record in successfully managing complex IR/ER matters and negotiating with union representatives in operational workforce will be highly regarded.Undergraduate and/or postgraduate qualifications in a HR/business discipline or equivalent experience.This is your chance to be part of a dynamic team driving impactful change and shaping the future of AGL.
