Paccar:It Intern, Summer 2024 - Software Developer

The intern will work closely with their mentor throughout the duration of the internship
Design and Develop new features for customer facing software application
Gain intensive hands-on experience in Design, Implement, Test, and Ship production-ready software solutions
Learn and apply Agile Software Development methods and techniques
Opportunity to work with senior developers on industry-leading sales tools and apply engineering and architectural practices, principles, and patterns
The intern will have a development plan designed to introduce and teach them the key skills needed to be successful in their internship
Required Experience & Skills:
2 – 3 years of college experience, preferably in Computer Science or related fieldProgramming knowledge/skills in the following technologies, but not limited to:JSON, YAML, and XMLRESTful APIWPFMS SQLHTMLStrong problem-solving and communication skills with a positive attitudeEmbodies and promotes PACCAR ITD values of Teamwork, Continuous Improvement, Commitment, Openness, and LearningAble to commit to a 12-week program throughout the summerEducation:
Currently pursuing a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Physical Demands:
Sitting and standing for prolonged periods of timeLifting up to 55 poundsTeam lifting large objects such as servers using lifting equipment
