Package/Mail Screener

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Package/Mail Screener to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for examining and screening incoming mail and packages to ensure they meet safety and security standards. This role is critical to maintaining the safety and integrity of our operations by detecting any suspicious items or irregularities.
Responsibilities:
Screen and inspect incoming mail and packages using detection equipment.Identify and flag any suspicious or prohibited items.Follow safety and security protocols for handling and reporting any identified threats.Maintain accurate records of all items screened.Work closely with security personnel and report any potential security concerns.Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding mail handling.Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in mailroom operations or a similar role is preferred.Strong attention to detail and ability to focus on tasks.Basic knowledge of security protocols and mail handling procedures.Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs.Effective communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
