Packaging Design Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION
Client is looking for a packaging engineer to work for a large life sciences company in Cincinnati, OH.
This person will be responsible for: technical expertise in the areas of design, development, testing and production scale-up of new packaging components, systems and processes. Leading engineering projects involving supply chain processes.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Package Engineering or other Technical Degree (Mechanical, Chemical, Biomedical Engineering, etc.)
Experience with new product development and commercialization of products in a regulated industry as an engineer
Experience as a package development engineer or a strong understanding of the package development process and responsibilities
Experience as a technical lead of projects Knowledge of New Product Development processes
Understanding of Supply Chain network and Distribution channels
3- 5+ years of experience
