About the roleOversee all the activities within a specific department or area of an organization. They monitor the efficacy of the department, improve operating processes, and report to upper management. Operations supervisors work in a variety of settings.

Your responsibilitiesEffectively manages production area to meet all operational goals in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, etc.Come to work at least a half hour early and stay a half hour lateEnsure that all documentation is correct and handed inDaily verification of ADP for all employees as well as signed off at end of weekWorks with team to identify and resolve issues to enhance employee safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) compliance.Develops team and builds an effective operating culture by utilizing a performance management process that sets expectations, ensures ongoing coaching, and assesses an employee's performance.Understands the production standards for production area, is accountable for managing production area shift to ensure objectives are met.Implements and utilizes solutions and technologies in support of improved safety, quality and continuous improvement and optimization of manufacturing processes.Provides technical leadership within operation to resolve and/or troubleshoot production issues.Ability to communicate issues, goals, and objectives effectively and manage competing requests in a complex, changing environment.Ensures accurate and timely completion and review of production records.Utilizing DT for Safety (personnel and food), as well as Quality efforts when applicable.The experience we're looking forPrevious experience as an operations supervisor or similar roleHands-on experience implementing operational processesExcellent project management skillsKnowledge of operational principles and policiesOrganizational skills and attention to detailTeam leadershipExperience working within an FDA regulated environment preferred.Basic computer skills required (i.e., Windows, SAP, WINS).Previous experience with computerized inventory systems a plus.What we offerWith inclusion at the heart of everything we do, working alongside our four global Employee Resource Groups, we support our people at every step of their career journey, helping them to succeed in their own individual way. US salary rangesUSD $71,000.00 - $89,000.00
US pay transparencyThe base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
