Packaging Technician

Packaging Technician We are seeking a dedicated Packaging Technician to join our team.
As a Packaging Technician, you will be responsible for preparing and packaging large and heavy products for shipment.
This includes constructing non-standard boxes and crates, selecting materials for packing, and assembling orders using equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks.

Key Responsibilities: Construct non-standard boxes, crates, or skids for domestic or foreign shipments Select materials for packing and protection of the product Assemble orders using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or hoists Record shipment details and mark packages with relevant information Contribute to team effort by training others in basic crating tasks as needed Skills and Qualifications: Ability to safely use small hand and power tools Basic computer skills High school diploma or equivalent Experience in a manufacturing environment desirable Location: G&W Electric, [Insert Work Address Here]
