Role Description
CoStar Group is the leading provider of information, marketing, and analytic services to the real estate and industry. We are currently seeking aPaid Media Strategistto join our CoStar Group and CoStar Marketing and Communications team based in Washington D.C. Reporting to the Senior Social Media Manager, the Paid Media Strategist will focus on optimizing our paid social media efforts, reporting, and analysis to boost brand awareness, welcome new followers, and gather new leads.
Responsibilities
Develop, manage, and optimize paid social media campaigns across platforms including LinkedIn Business Manager, Meta Business Manager and Google Ads.
Collaborate with the social media team to align paid and organic strategies for maximum impact.
Monitor and report on paid campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Conduct in-depth analysis of campaign data to inform future strategies and decision-making.
Stay updated on industry trends and platform updates to ensure the effectiveness of paid media efforts.
Manage budgets and ensure efficient allocation of resources for paid social campaigns.
Work with external digital agency and internal marketing and creative teams to coordinate paid media initiatives.
Liaison between external partners and internal finance teams on billing and invoicing.
Basic Qualifications (For External Applicants)
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, or a related discipline from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College.
A track record of commitment to prior employers.
5+ years of proven experience in managing paid social media campaigns on LinkedIn Business Manager, Meta Business Manager, and Google Ads.
2+ years proven experience in managing ad spend budgets and billing.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decisions.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Basic Qualifications (For Internal Applicants)
3+ years of proven experience in managing paid social media campaigns on LinkedIn Business Manager, Meta Business Manager, and/or Google Ads.
1+ years of proven experience in manage ad spend budgets and billing.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decisions.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Ability to think strategically and act proactively.
Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing situations.
Experience with Asana, Sprout Social, TikTok Ads, and/or Google Analytics a plus.
Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel a plus.
