Wingspan Care Group is hiring a Painter to sufficiently perform any associated related building trades.
As the Painter, you will complete painting projects across the entire property portfolio.
This is a full-time position servicing Wingspan and all affiliated agencies.
Responsibilities Include: Complete associated tasks that pertain to painting (e.g., the associated carpentry, plumbing or electrical necessary to complete the painting task).
Painting tasks will include the moving of furniture, protecting surrounding areas, repairing damages, climbing ladders, acceptable clean-up, security of tools at all times and the operation of motor vehicles.
Provide incidental assistance within Facilities as assigned.
Must carry cell phone and respond to any Facilities emergency as necessary or directed across the agencies.
Proper use and care of equipment, tools, clothing and chemicals including, but not limited to: inspecting tools and equipment prior to use; being familiar with chemical Safety Data Sheets (SDS) prior to use; making sure no tools or chemicals are left unattended, return items to the appropriate storage area after use and make sure all tools and chemicals are secure.
Responsible for inspection and security of the buildings.
Supervisor is to be notified of any security problems noticed or any needed repairs.
Qualifications: Minimum High School diploma or GED Minimum five years' experience in commercial painting and related maintenance.
Ability to lift 70 pounds.
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
Sensitivity in relating to persons of varying backgrounds and demonstrate ability to work with diverse groups of people possessing various strengths, aptitudes and abilities.
Ability to perform job responsibilities with a high degree of initiative and independent judgment.
