Salary: $25 - $28 Schedule:  Full-time;  Monday - Friday 3% 401k matching after one year of employment Medical benefits effective after 60 days Two weeks of vacation per year 10 days of paid holidays Maintenance Technician/Painter Purpose: The Maintenance Technician/Painter is to assist the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Maintenance Team in maintaining the physical integrity of the community. This involves ensuring a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors and staff. The Maintenance Technician will carry out assigned duties in a safe manner and other duties as requested by the Maintenance Supervisor. In the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician will assume all maintenance responsibilities. 
Maintenance Technician/Painter Job Responsibilities: Schedules and performs routine preventative maintenance on all appropriate equipment and tools as directed by Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. Diagnoses and performs minor or routine maintenance and repairs within homes and throughout the property. Detailed painting and touch ups. Inspects and helps coordinate all needed make-ready repairs and services. Assists in keeping grounds neat and free of litter. Performs any additional duties assigned by Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. Contributes to a positive team environment and happy resident base. Maintenance Technician/Painting Qualifications: Prior maintenance experience in property management strongly preferred, but not required Painting experience required Proficient in unit turns and appliance repair is a plus Excellent customer service skills Strong team player Willingness to learn and take initiative on tasks and projects Weekends/listed schedule days are required Must have valid driver's license and automobile insurance coverage Supplies their own tools If you do not fully meet the qualifications listed above but feel you have the skills and experience to be able to be successful in this position we welcome your application! Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to stand and walk or sit alternatively depending on the specific needs of the day. Estimated 66% - 100% of time is spent on feet.
