Established Elder Law firm is seeking a highly skilled Paralegal to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and responsesAssist attorneys in the preparation for trial, including organizing and reviewing evidence, preparing witness lists, and drafting motions and briefsCommunicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the legal processManage case files and documents, including organizing and maintaining physical and electronic filesAssist attorneys in preparing for depositions, mediations, and hearings Requirements:
A bachelor's degree and a paralegal certificate from an accredited institutionAt least 2-4 years of paralegal experience in the estate planning, probate, elder law space, a plusStrong research and writing skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research softwareAbility to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skills
