This is a Temp to Hire opportunity and will be subjected to a credit review before any interviews with our client. The paralegal will be responsible for the below specific duties.
Your specific duties will include: Drafting and preparing legal documents such as foreclosure filings, title claims, affidavits, and other mortgage-related documents. Organizing case files, managing deadlines, and ensuring that documents are properly filed and distributed. Researching laws, regulations, and case precedents that impact mortgage servicing and compliance. Assisting with compliance activities related to federal and state mortgage servicing laws. Liaising with clients, outside counsel, and internal departments to provide updates and gather required documentation.
Specific qualifications for the position include: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Paralegal Certification highly preferred 2-year minimum of Paralegal experience in a Financial Servicing space.
Pay Rate Range: $25.00- $30.00 per hour
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
