Responsibilities: • Advise in making personnel decisions, including hiring/termination, salaries, promotions and yearly reviews, as they pertain to paralegals • Work on own cases assigned by attorneys, to include drafting various legal documents (pleadings, discovery requests and answers, memoranda, and contracts) • Confirm Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits are being tracked and recommend additional classes if needed • Manage our team of paralegals and assist with assigning projects organizing and prioritizing tasks, caseload, and workflow, and advise on how to resolve conflicts, when they arise • Communicate effectively with attorneys and paralegals to ensure tasks are completed accurately in a timely manner • Medical Records Retrieval • Support during Trial • Obtaining Certified documents • Follow up with Clients • Treatment • Intake Qualifications: • Member of National Federation of Paralegal Association and/or member of local paralegal association is nice to have but not required • Standard computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel • Management, leadership, decision-making, and communication skills are necessary to succeed in this role • Bachelor's degree in legal administration, management, finance, or similar major - Master's degree preferred • Minimum 5 years' experience as a paralegal specialist, case manager, legal assistant, or legal office manager Compensation: $60,000+ yearly DOE
