Paralegal With Collections Experience

FundKite is a rapidly growing company specializing in revenue based financing.

We are looking for an experienced paralegal with collections experience to assist in the handling of legal documents, negotiation of accounts, and provide administrative support to our Collection Department.
This is a role that requires diligence, a strong work ethic, good organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle many different responsibilities.

Description of Responsibilities

Skip Tracing

Reach out to clients, negotiate, and finalize settlement agreements.

Coordinate with attorneys, and legal representatives.

Process legal documents, release forms, and draft settlement agreements.
Prepare/Draft UCC lien notices, monitor, follow up.

Review and track legal notices, lien documents, and attorney correspondence.

Draft and assemble standard correspondence.

Track and follow up on litigated cases, draft, and file legal documents with the court.

Make outbound phone calls, resolve outstanding issues with payment plans and settlement agreements.

Legal document preparation, prepare and provide documents related to debt collection, including court filings and settlement agreements.
Case management, organize and manage case files, ensuring efficient and timely handling of legal matters related to collections.
Resolve client issues both prior to and post-litigation.

Adjust and renegotiate settlement schedules if necessary.

Prepare reports and responses.

Handling Judgements and process of domesticating judgments for collections.

Job Requirements:

Experience with collections and judgment recovery.

Experience handling a large collection caseload.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to Multitask.

High Ethical Standards, maintain integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial and legal information.
Detail Oriented, Carefully review all legal documents and filings to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
Organizational Skills, Manage multiple tasks and prioritize workloads effectively in a fast paced environment.

Experienced with Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Must be responsible, self-motivated, well organized, and tenacious.

Experience:

Collections: 2 plus years

Paralegal/legal: 2 plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Commensurate with experience.

Schedule: 8-hour shift

Monday to Friday

Ability to commute.

Location: Miami, Florida 33131

Work Location: One location on site.
