Parish Compliance, Records, And Contributions Administrator

This key position is a FT Administrator of the Parish's Compliance, Sacramental Records, and Contributions. A successful candidate will be highly organized and detail oriented in order to assure accuracy for the Parish. Desired skills include use of computers, MS Office (e.g., Word, Excel) and Google applications. Applicants should be able to to quickly master use of ParishSoft, Arlington Diocese Office for the Protection of Children and Young People (OPCYP) processes, and entering Parish Sacramental records.Compensation is commensurate with experience.Position Duties:Parish Compliance Liaison: Ensure that all employees and volunteers complete the Background application and attend Virtus training. Keep Compliance report updated with Quarterly Corrections reports submitted to the Pastor and OPCYP. Attend annual training and conduct periodic (minimum annually) Virtus training sessions for staff and volunteers.Records Administrator: Record all Sacraments in Parish record books and for formal notifications to other Parishes when warranted. Submit yearly totals at end of Fiscal Year for numbers of each Sacrament recorded.Contributions Administrator: Post Weekly Contributions by Parishioners in ParishSoft. Create, file, and disseminate Weekly Contributions reports. Create, print, and mail year-end Contributions Statements to Contributors for tax purposes.
