JOB SUMMARY:
Oversees and provides leadership to the daily operation and is the first point of contact for Team Members, guests, and interdepartmental partners. Monitors the operation to ensure guest and Team Member safety, positive guest interactions, park cleanliness, and proper usage of equipment & chemicals. Accountable for daily labor budgets, show quality, regulatory compliance, and development in assigned area.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for daily operation, daily staffing levels, and – where appropriate – updating route sheets according to park attendance. Communicates pertinent operational updates and pass downs between shifts. Maintains various reports – including but not limited to – overtime projection, labor utilization, cleanliness checklists, and housekeeping inspections. Monitors and reports deficiencies in park quality and facilities. Aids in the dissemination of general company and venue or area specific forms of communication.
Coaches and documents performance utilizing Lead Observation reports. Responsible for the consistent execution of guest service, operational standards, and motivating Team Members to safely perform job tasks. Communicates and reinforces company and venue specific expectations via shift meetings and safety spot talks.
Acts as a liaison to the Scheduler to ensure route sheets are up to date, schedules and maintains ongoing departmental training. Oversees the upkeep of daily/weekly/monthly cleanliness tracking/rating documents. Reviews and edits Kronos to ensure that time is properly entered based on job codes and functional area. In the absence of a supervisor, will approve daily scheduling request changes.
Provides work direction to Team Members to ensure Standard Operating Procedures are upheld and all equipment is operated within the appropriate safety guidelines.
Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
High school degree or GED preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
1+ years Leadership and Park Services/Custodial experience.
Experience with floor care, pressure washing, and high reach equipment preferred;
or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Valid Florida Driver's license may be required to operate specific equipment
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Responsible for maintaining the daily operation such as overseeing daily Guest, Team Member and safety initiatives, park cleanliness and daily budget/staffing.
The first point of contact for interdepartmental counterparts, Team Members and Leads.
Responsible for providing both verbal and written coaching feedback to hourly Team Members.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications preferred.
As required, performs job duties of Park Attendant.
This includes but not limited to:
Sweeping, mopping, and/or vacuuming
Disinfecting high touch points (such as counters, tables, door handles, elevator buttons, stair handrails, etc.)
Replenishing dispensers (such as paper products, soap, etc.)
Disinfecting toilets, sinks, and urinals
Surface cleaning (such as baseboards, walls, glass, etc.)
Emptying and relining waste receptacles with trash bags
Maintaining exterior and interior cleanliness of waste receptacles
Supports recycling initiatives through collection, sorting, processing, and baling efforts
Dusting (such as vents, lights, stalls, etc.)
Preparing and refilling chemical bottles
Cleaning stainless fixtures and mirrors
Accurately completing daily logs
Stocking cleaning supplies, paper products, etc.
Operating trash compactor
