The Parking Division Manager is responsible for day-to-day parking operations, including public parking, employee parking, and off-street parking facilities operated by the Middlesex County Improvement Authority (MCIA).
Desired Qualifications: A minimum of 10 years of experience in parking managementProfessional certifications in parking a plusProven track record of building new parking operations teamExcellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with customers in a manner consistent with the values of Middlesex County Improvement AuthorityExperience in developing and managing relationships with vendors, contractors, employees, and guests.Ability to respond nights and weekends when necessaryA valid driver's license is requiredPhysical Job Requirements: Stand/move about – frequently, 50%Sitting – frequently, 50%Occasional Pushing/Pulling – Up to 30lbsOccasional Lifting – Up to 30lbs Primary Responsibilities: Manage/Mentor parking team members who are responsible for providing an outstanding guest service experience throughout the MCIA parking divisionOversee parking division employees at multiple facilitiesSchedule, train, and mentor the parking team to ensure exceptional serviceResponsible for the overall appearance and condition of facilitiesAssist the director with writing parking division policies and proceduresAssist the director in managing all third-party parking service contracts including (PARCS, PGS, Elevator, CCTV, Maintenance, Irrigation, Towing, etc.
)Lead effort to install and implement the most advanced parking and transportation technologyResponsible for cash handling, cash withdrawal, and ensuring the change recycler is full in cash pay stations.Analyze critical parking and traffic data to provide guidance in future business decisions.Perform routine audits, including revenue, PARCS system, and operational auditsCreate necessary monthly operational and financial reportsAdvise the director on any departmental needs, making recommendations to improve parking operationsPlan and manage irregular operational events including snow removal and other emergencies
