Landmark Hospitality is currently looking for a Front Desk Agent to join our team! Landmark Hospitality is a leader in the hospitality industry, that owns and operates unique and iconic venues such as the Liberty House, Hudson House, Stone House, the Ryland Inn, Boathouse, Village Hall, Farmhouse and Felina in New Jersey. We also operate iconic, unique venues in Pennsylvania such as Hotel Du Village, the Logan Inn, and Durham Springs. KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILL 2 to 3 years of Front Desk Agent or Guest Services Agent Experience in a HotelPossess a positive and upbeat personality with a desire to deliver outstanding guest service to our guestsDemonstrate the ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented and problem solve to deal with internal and external guestsWorks well in a fast pace environmentAbility to handle issues or concerns that arise in a proactive and effective mannerAbility to read comprehend and write simple instructions and/or short correspondence and memosAn operational knowledge of Microsoft Office suiteHolds an understanding of hotel products and guest servicesAbility to participate in the creation of an enjoyable work environment ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Front Desk is responsible providing outstanding guest serviceResponsibilities include registering guests, making and modifying reservations, answering guest inquiries, and ensuring guest satisfactionApproach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly service oriented mannerMust have open availability including weekends, holidays and shift coverage as neededComply at all times with property policies standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operationsHave knowledge of and assist in emergency procedures as requiredHandle check-ins and check-outs in a friendly efficient and courteous mannerFully comprehend and be able to operate all relevant aspects of the Front Desk computer systemEnsure logging and delivery of packages mail and messages as needed to guests and meeting roomsDeliver guest items such as luggage, newspapers, messages, packages, amenities or other items requested by guests or team membersMaintain knowledge of all property amenities, special events, local area attractions and things to do around the hotelPerform other duties as assigned which may include but is not limited to the following: helping coworkers in other areas of the hotel maintaining a clean and organized work area and overall cleanliness and safety throughout the hotel and grounds PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully with the ADA, as well as other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs; Ability to stand for duration of the shift and climb steps regularly.Ability to physically maneuver through work areas; bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment.
