Job Summary:
The Part-Time Center Associate at The UPS Store in Derry, New Hampshire is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to clients, as well as performing general administrative and logistical tasks.
This is a part-time individual contributor role, with hourly pay and opportunities for growth within the franchise industry.
Compensation & Benefits:
The Part-Time Center Associate will receive a competitive hourly wage of $15 to $17, paid weekly.
They will also have access to on-the-job training and development opportunities, as well as potential for advancement within The UPS Store franchise.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Process shipments and other transactions through UPS systems
- Provide knowledge and assistance with packing and shipping options
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of center, including packaging supplies and shipping materials
- Assist with printing, copying, and other document services
- Operate and maintain various office equipment, including printers, computers, and mail machines
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries
- Complete administrative tasks, such as filing and data entry
- Other duties as assigned by Store Manager
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Familiarity with UPS shipping systems and processes is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email programs
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
