Position: Dance Instructor
Location: Music & Dance Academy
Schedule: Thursday afternoons/evenings (exact times to be confirmed)
Ages: 3 to 11 years old
Classes: Ballet & Jazz
Start Date: January 2024
Responsibilities: Teach ballet and jazz classes to children ages 3 to 9 in a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate manner.Create and implement lesson plans that encourage creativity, confidence, and a love for dance.Provide a positive and supportive learning environment for students.Foster good classroom behavior and maintain a safe environment.Communicate effectively with parents and students about progress and goals.Demonstrate a passion for teaching and working with young children. Qualifications: Prior experience teaching dance to children, especially in ballet and jazz.Strong classroom management skills and ability to keep children engaged and motivated.A love for working with kids and helping them grow in both dance and confidence.Creative, energetic, and patient.Strong communication skills with both kids and adults.Dance certifications and/or professional dance experience are a plus.
