Part-Time Ophthalmologist

We are a dynamic and growing private practice looking to hire a part-time comprehensive ophthalmologist to join our team in Hoffman Estates, IL, located 20 minutes from O'Hare airport. Collaborate with our Cornea Specialist, Optometrist, and part-time Retina Specialist. We are seeking a professional and dedicated individual to be part of our team, where integrity, compassion, relationships, innovation, and performance are most important. Excimer laser, YAG, SLT, Ascan Laser, B scan, fluorescein angio on-site, and minor surgery center.
Glaucoma and Cornea Specialists are welcomed to apply.

Responsibilities:


Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of health professionals to provide optimal patient care in a pathology-based practice.Responsible for the quality of patient care, including the oversight of all quality assurance metrics provided by the clinical services department.Share on-call responsibilities with other practitioners in the office (every other week).Help patients with traumatic eye injuries, diagnosing eye ailments, and conducting various procedures related to the eyes.Work with patients to understand their medical needs, prescribe corrective lenses, and perform laser surgery as needed.Ensure high-quality patient care.Conduct routine eye examinations.
Qualifications:


M.D. degree; completed an accredited internship and residency.Fellowship in Cornea or Glaucoma / comprehensive ophthalmologist a plus.Board Certified / Eligible.Current non-restricted Licensure to practice Ophthalmology.Current Illinois Physician Licensure.Please send your resume to ******.
