Waypoint Analytical is a wholly owned subsidiary of Nutrien, LTD. The Seasonal Laboratory Technician will be responsible for supporting the laboratory by following methodologies, performing analysis, and interpreting data from samples.

This position is a seasonal position and is from August 2024 – November 2024. What you will do: Preparing and analyzing samples for a wide variety of testing procedures.Follow the outlined methodologies and Standard Operating Procedures for the tests assigned.Learn to operate and maintain scientific equipment/instrumentation.Document activities and report results in a concise and accurate manner.Assist group leaders and analysts in ordering and inventorying consumables, chemicals, and parts for instrumentation.Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of laboratory equipment and areas.Model our core value of safety by enabling a culture in which you are actively contributing to a safe work environment.Other duties as required.What you will bring: High school diploma or equivalent.Knowledge of analytical methods, instruments, general lab practices, and lab safety.Willingness and ability to work day, evening, or overnight shifts.Waypoint Analytical is an equal opportunity employer.
