Your Responsibilities
As aPart-Time Student - Marketing Data AnalyticsforJohn Deere Power Systemslocated inWaterloo, IA, you will...
Assist Product Managers, Data Analysts and Data Scientists with analytics projects through tasks such as: querying/cleansing data, building compelling data visualizations and dashboards, etc.
Be responsible for assisting with the deployment, communication, and monitoring of data analytics models and visualizations for key stakeholders and users.
Contribute to analysis of data sets to generate customer, market, and industry insights relating to the future of electrified and mechanical power systems and vehicle autonomy.
This position is not available to students on immigration visas
What Skills You Need
Ideally pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics or Marketing; others may apply
Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited university (Hawkeye, UNI, Wartburg, etc)
Graduation date of December 2025 or later
Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
16-20 hours/week required during the academic year
20-40 hours/week desired during the summer
What Makes You Stand Out
Experience with Visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, DataStudio, etc.
Proficiency in programming languages, such as SQL or Python.
Persistence; able to overcome obstacles by thinking creatively and applying new ideas.
Inquisitiveness; approach problems with curiosity and an open mind.
Ability to work autonomously as well as in a project team.
Ability to effectively lead meetings, to document work for reproduction, to write persuasively, to communicate proof-of-concepts, present results, and to effectively take notes.
