Part Time Weather Anchor/Meteorologist

KTEN Television, the NBC/ABC/CW affiliates in Denison, Texas, is looking for a part-time "as-needed" weather anchor/meteorologist. Our team produces 34 hours of news and weather each week and needs occasional support covering various shifts and newscasts.
The candidate for this position will have experience with The Weather Company or other industry-standard weather graphics and forecast platforms.
Well-demonstrated experience in weather alert systems as well as knowledge of social media with the ability to disseminate weather information across multiple platforms is also required.
This is an ideal position for on-air talent with knowledge of meteorological science living in the Texoma, North Dallas, or southern Oklahoma area that has had experience and wants to flex their weather-presenting muscle occasionally. Area students studying meteorology/atmospheric sciences who want some real-world experience are encouraged to apply.
