The Hotel Colorado is hiring for Part Time Day Shift Weekend Maintenance Engineer. The pay rate for this position is $22.00/hr. to $24.00/hr. DOE. It is a part-time position eligible for accrued sick time. In addition, we offer a free employee meal with each shift, a sister property rate at our sister property and use of the company ski passes to Sunlight during the season. Our company has an Employee Assistance Program available to all employees and family members. General handyman experience needed for this position.
The purpose of this position is to maintain and repair the physical structures of the building, maintain grounds and respond to guest issues by performing the following duties.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receives written work orders or verbal instructions from supervisor. Assists with snow removal and maintaining safe sidewalk and entry conditions in winter conditions. Maintains and repairs buildings' plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts such as switches and fuses. Repairs or replaces building brick, stone, and concrete. Maintains and repairs wood parts of buildings. Replaces worn or damaged parts such as hoses, wiring, and belts, in machines and equipment. Change light bulbs. Drywall patching and repair. Install equipment. Performs minor carpentry repair. Assists with trash removal. Responds to Front Desk calls relaying guest room issues and resolves the issue. Assists other departments with moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies. Maintains a clean, safe working environment. Inspects buildings, grounds, and equipment of unsafe or malfunctioning conditions and repairs and/or reports those conditions.
