**Description** ** _Summary:_**The RN Lactation Consultant provides knowledge in the practice of lactationmanagement. Diagnoses lactation problems, plans and implements interventionand evaluation outcomes. Conducts prenatal breastfeeding classes and evaluateseducational outcomes. Provides consultation and outpatient care for familiesexperiencing difficulty breastfeeding. Serves as a consultant for healthcareproviders concerning lactation as it relates to patient's health problems.**_Requirements:_****A. EducationSkills**Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.Excellent oral and written communication skills.**B. Experience**Previous RN experience in Women's Services.Previous experience as a Lactation Consultant preferred.**C.
