Job Description
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in real estate finance, with a proven track record representing lenders through all stages of financing transactions, including term sheet negotiations, documentation, closing, and ongoing advisory work. This role requires expertise in various real estate finance areas, including:
Construction loans across all asset typesHomebuilder acquisition and development loansVertical construction loansHealth care real estate financingDealer finance (including floor planning)Financed ground leasesBridge and mezzanine loansEB-5 debt financingLoan syndicationsForbearance arrangements and deed-in-lieu transactionsResponsibilities Represent clients in complex real estate finance transactionsDraft, negotiate, and/or oversee the drafting and negotiation of loan documentationConduct and manage due diligence processesProvide strategic advice to clients throughout the life of the loanDevelop new business opportunities by leveraging the firm's national platform and resourcesQualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolActive bar membership in Arizona (other jurisdictions considered)10+ years of focused experience in real estate financePortable book of business preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and in a team-oriented environmentCompensation & Benefits
