The Rallye Motor Company, Long Island's premier luxury automotive group, is seeking a Parts Inventory Control & Shipping & Receiving Clerk with Rallye Mercedes!
The ideal candidate is looking for a long-term position where they can utilize their automotive parts skills and knowledge to engage with a luxury client base, and be a part of an outstanding team!Responsibilities for this position include: Assist in overlooking the parts department and helping with both inventory control and shipping & receiving.
Ensure appropriate stock and inventory of all parts and accessories.
Track incoming and outgoing shipments, and verify against bills of lading, invoices, orders and other records.
Determine shipment methods.
Prepare shipments, including: affix shipping labels, assemble packaging containers, pack parts into containers using spacers, fillers & protective padding, affix shipping instructions, charges, and postage.
Receive incoming shipments, including: unpack & examine shipment contents, reject damaged items, record shortages, place parts into stock or customer bins quickly and accurately.
Receive unsold parts returned by parts driver.
Notify other departments in the dealership(s) when their parts arrive.

Automotive parts experience with Mercedes-Benz and/or CDK experience preferred.
Clean and valid driver's license.
Excellent verbal/written communication and organization skills.
Outgoing and patient personality with outstanding customer relations ability.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word programs.
Professional personal appearance.
Must be able to lift 70 pounds.
