Parts Procurement Specialist

As the Parts Procurement Specialist at Our Home, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our production and maintenance teams have access to the necessary parts and materials to operate efficiently. Your responsibilities will include managing the procurement process, optimizing supplier relationships, and ensuring that inventory levels align with operational needs.
Key Responsibilities: Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with suppliers to secure the best pricing and terms for parts and materials.Analyze inventory levels and forecast future needs to ensure timely availability of parts, minimizing lead times and stockouts.Process purchase orders and monitor order status, ensuring accuracy and quality throughout the procurement cycle.Enter and track maintenance work orders within the maintenance system.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance and production, to understand parts requirements and operational challenges.Develop and maintain supplier performance metrics and manage evaluations to ensure compliance with company standards.Implement best practices in procurement to optimize costs while maintaining quality and service levels.Stay updated on market trends and pricing, ensuring the company benefits from cost-effective purchasing decisions.Assist in managing inventory systems and ensure that all records are accurate and up-to-date.Stage parts for maintenance and warehouse work.Point person for manufacturing efficiency software (RedZone).Provide indirect supervision to contracted weekend sanitation group.Additional tasks as required.Qualifications: Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with inventory management software.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with various stakeholders.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.Benefits: Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision).Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D).Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays).Short Term & Long Term Disability.
