This position requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual who can work effectively with a variety of people and possess a strong technical aptitude and understanding of concrete construction equipment and the rental industry. Must be able to assimilate a broad range of information, schedule priority work effectively, and work successfully with both internal and external customers. This position is responsible for managing the fleet of rental equipment and the parts inventory.
Must be able to efficiently prioritize workloads and manage shop personnel to ensure equipment is serviced and repaired timely. This includes making sure all necessary parts are ordered.
Must be able to communicate effectively with outside customers, vendors, and co-workers. Will be responsible for calling upon and servicing customers daily.
Will be responsible for coordinating equipment repairs and service with shop personnel and will be responsible for ordering all parts and accessories from vendors.
Must maintain company standards with the facility, equipment and delivery fleet. This includes cleanliness, organization and appearance of personal workspaces.
Monitor and ensure safety and environmental compliance. This includes maintaining all records and documentation.
Qualifications: Knowledge of general office business practices, preferably in a service environment Knowledge and confidence using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) applications as well as web applications as needed Ability to prioritize workload and maintain flexibility while working as part of a team Ability to multi-task, prioritize and remain focused while working in a fast-paced environment. Ability and aptitude to learn company systems and applications relating to work tasks (specific systems training will be provided) Ability to deal with strict deadlines, upset customers and time-sensitive situations to provide excellent customer service Ability to work in an office for the majority of the time; occasional work in a warehouse environment with possible exposure to extreme temperatures for short periods of time while locating and/or checking equipment inventory Exceptional organizational skills; extreme attention to detail Strong business verbal and written communication skills Exceptional phone and customer service skills Some overtime hours may be required as business and deadlines demand 3 - 5 years' experience working in a professional administrative environment Responsibilities: The Rental Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and processing rental departmental contracts and projects. This position also involves trucking coordination within Pietrini and outside vendors. This position allows you to develop relationships, learn about the construction industry and to use your superior customer service skills to support and grow our equipment rental business. Dispatches in-house drivers to customer locations for delivery and pick-up as well as coordinates with contracted external delivery services. Source and coordinate shipment of equipment. Process and log internal paperwork. Maintain and oversee invoice rental equipment contracts. Field and process all shop maintenance for rental units. Maintain accurate equipment inventory logs. Accurately track equipment. Provide timely responses to requests. Provide administrative and manual support during Annual Physical Inventory. Will work closely with Yard Manager on Equipment, Transportation and Service needs. Additional Requirements: Valid driver's license.

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 base per year, plus commission.
