Patent Attorney or Patent Agent opportunity within a booming practice. Preparation & prosecution of patents, opinions, portfolio management, due diligence, and litigation support. High profile clients and sophisticated work with the opportunity to support patent attorneys on other legal issues.
Diverse array of hardware and software applications (industrial and consumer electronics, analog and digital circuits, chip architecture, wireless telecommunications, enterprise applications, network security, network protocols, databases, web and cloud services, operating systems, software user interfaces, open source, etc.). Client assignment and workload will be dependent upon your technical expertise (i.e., software vs. hardware, etc.).
Attorney Requirements:Minimum BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science; JD; state bar, Patent Bar.Must have at least 1 year full time claim drafting experience.Agent Requirements:Minimum BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science, preferably graduate degree and/or prior engineering experience.Having passed the Patent Bar is absolutely required.Notes for Potential Candidates:All fees are paid by client firms and companies. Another important distinction is that we work directly with the decision makers (i.e. partners, managing counsels, etc.) that make the determinations regarding who will be interviewed, who will be extended an offer, etc.
