About the Account Manager position We are looking for an Account Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The Account Manager oversees a portfolio of assigned customers, develops new business from existing clients, and actively seeks new sales opportunities.
Account Manager responsibilities are: Acting as a communication hub for clients/customers Building long-term rapport with customers through product knowledge and customer service inquiries Assist with coordinating and facilitating Request for Proposals from insurance companies. Negotiate with insurance companies, including insurance carrier contracts, premiums/rates, and renewals. Help prepare and present proposals for clients /customers and prospective clients. Advise and consult with client and consultant/producing agent on renewals, alternative renewals, and new insurance coverages. Assist with onboarding clients/customers to new insurance products, enrollment platforms, and various HRIS and HCM systems. Assisting with new client paperwork and contract review. Assist with presenting open enrollment material to clients/customers and their employees. Develop a thorough understanding of insurance companies and coverage options to advise clients/customers. Resolving customer disputes and attending to inquiries Providing reports on account Finding opportunities to assist with the growth of the company Developing ideas/strategies to help build a good relationship with clients Assisting with critical issues and escalations Account Manager requirements are: Experience as an Account Manager or related profession Excellent communication skills, including presentational skills and customer service communication. Familiar with CRM software and MS Office Knowledgeable about delivering solutions based on customer needs Ability to manage multiple projects Excellent negotiation and leadership skills BA/BSc degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
