Patient Access Rep - Patient Access

BASIC FUNCTION: Coordinate the registration of the patient using the proper Patient Access Department policies and procedures and provide excellent customer service. (Admitting, Out-patient and Emergency patients).

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE: High School graduate or equivalent. Medical Terminology preferred. Preferred a minimum of 50 WPM to include accuracy and speed. Pleasant voice and manner, well groomed, good hearing and eyesight. CIDE training within 3 months if working in ER Must be computer-literate to complete task(s) as required. Such as MediTech (Hospital Support Software), Halogen (performance appraisal system), Relias (education system), ability to retrieve e-mails, complete online enrollment for health insurance/benefits and any other programs as assigned
