Patient Accounts Representative (Billing Customer Service)

We are searching for compassionate and energetic individuals to join our team!
We are seeking a Full-Time Patient Accounts Representative located in mid-town Charlotte.

The ideal candidate possesses excellent customer service skills and has at least 1 year of healthcare billing or front desk experience.
Prior experience in a busy medical practice is highly favored.
Must have the ability to multi-task and have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Assists patients over the telephone with questions regarding their account and identifies and resolves patient billing issues. Responds to inquiries from patients, attorneys and patient portal. Processes and posts payments taken over the phone and through patient portal. Works with collection agencies to ensure accuracy of information. Follows all our processes and complies with HIPAA regulations. Updates pertinent patient information in the system. Works as part of a team to complete departmental responsibilities. Applies our values in decision-making and interactions with all individuals. Promotes a positive work environment through effective teamwork Other duties as assigned by changing needs, patient flow, or physician request

Hours: Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm

This is not a work from home position.
