About the role: As a Patient Support Representative (PSR) for Accompany Health you will be:
-An advocate for our patients who are often overlooked in our healthcare system.
-The telephonic "front door" for an organization that seeks to build the next generation of patient experience.


\n Responsibilities will include:Answering inbound calls and addressing patient questions  in a timely manner, in addition to routing calls to appropriate departments when handling patient careMaking outbound calls as needed and during call campaigns with objectives such as appointment schedulingMaintain patient confidentiality and abide by HIPAA standardsOther duties as assigned.This role reports to the Operations Manager. Desired skills and experience:RequiredAt least 2 years of experience in a customer service function within a healthcare settingExcellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to quickly build trust with patientsA flexible and positive attitudeAbility to follow protocol for handling many different kinds of patient callsStrong computer skills and basic knowledge of G-Suite (e.g., Google Docs)Can handle multiple tasks at once, such as typing notes while talking and working in 2 systems at the same timeUS work authorizationHigh speed internet. Test used to verify bandwidth Preferred Experience working in an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system Experience working with patients on Medicaid
\n$21 - $21 an hour
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $21/hour + equity + benefits.  Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.  The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position.  Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.  Our talent team can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. \n#LI-Remote #LI-JL1
For Patient Facing Roles To keep our patients, communities and each other safe, you'll be required to comply with Accompany Health's medical clearance requirements, including completing a TB screen and providing proof of immunity or vaccination for certain conditions. You will also be required to be vaccinated and up-to-date on your COVID-19 vaccinations, including boosters. This is a condition of employment, and we make exceptions as required by law.
