Overview:
Titan Security, of the fastest-growing privately-held security services providers in the state of Michigan, is currently hiring experienced security guards to work in the Dearborn, Michigan area. Positions available include: Dispatchers, Patrol Officers, and Access Control Officers. Various shifts & schedules available, candidates are encouraged to have flexible availability.
Responsibilities:
Dispatcher
Monitor CCTV Camera SystemDispatch Patrol Officers to LocationsAnswer Regular phones and Emergency phones.Monitor Alarm PanelsRespond to Radio callsWrite reportsProvide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business informationPatrol Officer Patrol industrial or commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business informationMonitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environmentMaintain clear, accurate logs pertaining to people or property including packagesRespond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security managementOther duties as assignedAccess Control Officer Control access to the plant through gate operations, verifying credentials of employees, contractors, and visitors.Checking Vehicle Passes to make sure the vehicles are allowed on propertyChecking Semi Trucks paperwork and directing them to the proper GateUnderstanding Marsec ( Maritime Security) ProceduresConduct Marsec Vehicle inspectionsProvide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age Must have a valid drivers license High School diploma or general education degree (GED) Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check Able to read, write, speak, and understand English Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as a security officer TWIC Card Pay and Benefits: Compensation based on qualifications, experience, and assignment, from $12.25 to $14.00 / Hour Paid time off and paid holidays Opportunities for career growth and promotion Medical available upon hire 401K/Direct Deposit Recognition and motivational awards Skills-enhancing training EOE/M/F/D/V
