Job Title: Payer Enrollment Specialist Location: Norwood, OH
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (32-40 hours per week)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, fully onsite

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Payer Enrollment Specialist responsible for the credentialing and enrollment of physicians and allied health providers.
The role involves ensuring the timely and accurate completion of provider applications, verifying licenses, maintaining databases, and collaborating with internal departments.


Key Responsibilities:
Complete and review provider applications for accuracy and thoroughness.
Contact providers for additional information and resolve discrepancies.
Communicate with government agencies and managed care companies to obtain status updates on provider applications.
Ensure timely submissions of re-appointments and re-credentials, and maintain internal credential files.
Follow up regularly with TCHMA Administration, Billing Department, and Office Managers to ensure credentialing compliance.
Update and maintain the CAQH database accurately.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience: 5+ years of experience in payer enrollment, specifically in a health system or hospital setting.
Strong proficiency in CAQH.
Experience with Cactus or Symplr credentialing systems.
Advanced skills in Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Must have prior experience in a hospital system.
Note: Nursing, allied health, or agency credentialing experience is not acceptable for this role.
Preferred Skills: Familiarity with Cactus/Symplr and CAQH.
Education: Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: Some college education (degree not required).
Additional Requirements: Commitment to working onsite 5 days a week.
Commitment to completing the 13-week contract assignment.
Flu shot required before the start date.
Business casual attire.
Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday (onsite only).
