We're seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Process bi-weekly payroll for 100-200 employees Manage payroll taxes, deductions, and benefits Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies Prepare and file payroll tax returns Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters Requirements: 3-5 years of payroll experience Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex) Strong knowledge of payroll taxes and wage laws Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Payroll certification (e.g., CPP, FPC) a plus Vaco values a diverse workplace and strongly encourages women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, members of ethnic minorities, foreign-born residents, and veterans to apply.
