Reporting to the Payroll Manager this individual administers payroll for University Campuses. Answer inquiries from University employees in reference to their payroll records. Assist management with access and submission of employee's time through the time and attendance system. Work with Human Resources and Campuses to ensure accurate payroll data is received and processed in a timely manner. Enters payroll documentation for processing as it is received Responds to employee payroll inquires Assist employees with utilizing timekeeping system (Replicon) Prepare pay input entries for managerial audit prior to completion of payroll using Workday Payroll Calculations feature Assist employees with utilizing Employee Self Service for taxes and payment elections Required knowledge of Form W2 to assist employees with inquiries Required knowledge of Cafeteria 125 pre-tax deductions to assist employees with inquiries Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent training and experience preferred Work Experience: 2-4 years' experience of payroll administration in a medium or large company Job Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of customer service skills Must have ability to work independently Must be detail oriented and possess the ability to follow up, resolve and close all issues Proficiency in Excel Understanding of FMLA rules Understanding of Garnishment rules by states Must have strong computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, etc.)Must communicate with accuracy, diplomacy and confidentiality while interacting with a broad range of employees and managers Certificates, licenses and registrations: N/A Other: Must have the flexibility to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs warrant. Mobility within the office including movement from floor to floor Travel via plane, car, and metro is not required to perform this job. Access information using a computer Effectively communicate, both up and down the management chain Effectively cope with stressful situations Strong mental acuity Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this job.
