Payroll Specialist (Newton)

Job description $1250 HIRING BONUS We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our accounting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with relevant tax laws, and maintaining a high level of professionalism. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting, with experience in payroll processing and a keen eye for detail.

Basic Responsibilities: Work closely with the finance team with primary responsibility for timely and accurate biweekly payroll processing. Routine accounting tasks and some clerical work will be required. Job Type: Full time

Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent; degree in accounting or business is preferred. One year of experience in payroll is preferred. Adequate computer skills to complete job duties as assigned; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel. Good communication and organizational skills. Attend all mandatory training required by this position. Pay: From $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
